Introduction

Open Connections is part of the Telemach Info group of companies, with operations in Europe and North America. We specialise in offering software solutions around Document Capture, Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Business Process Management (BPM). Open Connections is an established IBM ValueNet Partner. We offer a range of IBM ECM products on which most of our integrated solutions are also based. Our solutions aim to deliver improvements to the way organisations manage, secure, retrieve and share their information. They address and enhance our customers' key business processes, leading to improved productivity and competitiveness.

We have delivered solutions for over 100 UK customers across many sectors - examples include BAA, BT, The Commission for Social Carehome Inspection (CSCI), Exeter Friendly Society, Gissings, Grosvenor Estates, HSBC, Liberata, LloydsTSB, Punter Southall, rpmi, T-Mobile, Westland Helicopters and the Welsh Development Agency. Many of our clients have several ongoing and new projects in which Open Connections is involved - expanding current solutions into multiple application areas, departments, sites and countries.

Partnerships

In addition to being an IBM ValueNet Partner, we also have strategic alliances with partners providing best of breed hardware and software technologies. These technologies include professional scanners from organisations such as Kodak, Fujitsu and Canon. We also specialise in two leading document capture solutions, Ascent Capture from Kofax Image Products (including INDICIUS) and Datacap Taskmaster. We also often work as subcontractors to companies delivering part of a project or solution. Because of our focus and expertise, this is a growing part of our business.

Integrated Solutions

We have many years experience in integrating our EDM solutions with leading applications software, such as SAP, AutoCAD and GIS. All software products implemented by Open Connections are backed by professional consultancy, implementation, training and technical support services.

Open Connections provide solutions based on leading, proven technologies. We have strong partnerships with key software suppliers and integrators, together with reference sites and success stories. The focus of our business is the IBM (previously FileNet) product range and we have been a IBM/FileNet partner for over 15 years. This gives us unrivalled depth and breadth of experience with the IBM ECM product range.

Open Connections has a strong team of experienced technical specialists to undertake all aspects of implementation and integration with IBM products. They are supported by staff with appropriate levels of skill at business analysis, project management and account management to ensure the delivered solution fits client requirements.
