P8 Bulk Import

Many customers implementing P8 have legacy data they need to incorporate into the their new systems. Open Connections have developed a set of tools that allow high speed bulk import into P8 (V3.5, V4.0 and V4.5).
These tools have already been used by our customers to import millions of images into their P8 system. Intelligent conversion of documents and meta-data can be implemented using snippets of Visual Basic .Net code to perform lookups and conversions. Recent examples have included automated conversion of TIFF to mixed mode PDF suitable for content searching.
